Sauteed Brussel Sprouts

Easy side that taste great.  Our kids.... well one of them at least even likes it.

Ingredients
  • Package of fresh brussel sprouts washed and cut in half
  • 2-4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 T butter

Directions
  1. Washed and cut brussel sprouts in half.
  2. In a saute pan, melt butter with 1 T olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Toss in whole garlic cloves and saute for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Toss in brussel sprouts, cut side down.
  5. Drizzle another tablespoon of olive oil on brussel sprouts.
  6. Salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Let saute for 10-15 minutes.

They may get a little brown but that's ok.  Just don't let them get black.
